Writing Winning Proposals
On January 8th the IEEE Consultants’ Network of Northern NJ (www.TechnologyOnTap.org) will present Steven R. Garfinkel, Principal of Ellipsah LLC who will discuss how to write winning proposals.
About the Topic
Getting work is a necessary part of every consultants worklife, and winning jobs through proposals is one of the ways it can be done. Proposals are very competitive (for example, SBIRs) and no matter what people may say, there is no free money being handed out. This short talk will discuss what you can do to increase your chances for success. The talk will cover aspects of the proposal process and preparation not covered by standard introductory workshops, the product of experience gained by practise. While the SBIR proposal process will be used as a starting point, the discussion will be applicable to all types of proposals. Following the talk will be a question and answer session.
