On Thursday, June 8, 2017 the IEEE Consultants’ Network of Northern NJ (www.TechnologyOnTap.org) will host Jim Mumm, Executive Vice President of SunLight Energy Corporation and Stephen Schneider, Director of Operations. SunLight General. These are folks that installed the solar array at the Morris County Library.

About the Speaker(s)
Jim Mumm has been bringing innovative solutions to commercial and industrial firms since 1984. He served as Executive Vice President, as part of the senior management team for a leading energy consulting firm. He led the team in the PJM power pool region, the largest in the country, to double-digit growth by working with some of the world’s largest energy companies to provide innovative strategies, products, and cost-saving solutions for commercial and industrial clients. Jim also served as CEO of a leading national sales and executive training firm and as CEO of a successful sales and marketing firm that provided senior level sales assistance to technology solution providers. He has a BBA, an MBA, and a MSc in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College of the City of New York.
Stephen Schneider is responsible for the oversight and management of over 140 solar PV facilities. He leads operations and maintenance, supervising the greater operations and maintenance team. He also assists in the development and project management of new PV installations. Mr. Schneider was previously Director of Operations at Pfister Energy, a New Jersey based solar integrator. He has five years of experience with a variety of innovative renewable energy projects including participation in over 15 MW of solar installations. He has held leadership positions in Business Development, Project Engineering and Management, and Operations and Maintenance. He has worked with a number of leading commercial, institutional and governmental clients in order to develop, deliver and maintain solar projects. Prior to entering the solar industry, Mr. Schneider spent over ten years in the finance and construction industries. He holds a BS in Electronic Engineering and an MBA, both from Monmouth University and is a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer.
